Our “Zero Lift” Policy

Regional Hospital is a “Zero Lift” facility. Rather then employing traditional manual patient transfers, employees of Regional Hospital have the use of mechanical lifts for all patient handling. This policy allows us to protect our staff members from potential injuries related to lifting and transferring patients, as well as provide an additional level of comfort and safety that our patients and their families recognize and appreciate.
