Registered NursesRegional Hospital welcomes experienced acute care RNs to join our interdisciplinary team. Registered Nurse ResidencyWe also have a Registered Nurse Residency program for new grads of accredited nursing programs, refresher course grads and Registered Nurses coming from a lower acuity setting through our individualized residency program, which can be scheduled at any time. We do not have any residency positions available at this time.

Administrative Assistant (Part-time)
Regional Hospital is seeking a Part-time Administrative Assistant for 10 hours/week. The Administrative Assistant shall provide general administrative and clerical support services to the Chief Medical Officer (the “CMO”) of Regional Hospital, in the performance of his duties as CMO. The position shall be under the general direction of the CMO, but reporting to Regional’s Manager of Quality, Risk and Compliance. Position shall support outcome studies and quality improvement efforts of the CMO on behalf of the hospital and assist in preparing statistical reports pertaining to clinical outcomes and quality improvement activities. Additional clerical functions in support of CMO. A working knowledge of the CMO's duties, so as to be able to effectively schedule the CMO's appointments and support CMO’s obligation to the Hospital.
This position requires:
- An office management background generally equivalent to an Associate’s degree in a secretarial-related field.
- The ability to work with sensitive information within a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in business vocabulary to effectively represent the CMO internally and to outside parties.
- The ability to organize and prioritize work, analyze and evaluate data, draw conclusions, and develop responses.
- Time management skills to plan, manage, and coordinate CMO's activities and major functions.
- A basic knowledge of healthcare and hospital service delivery, medical terminology and medical ethics.
- A proficiency in oral and written communication, good grammar, spelling and interpersonal communication; basic math; clerical office practices and procedures; business telephone etiquette; operation of basic office equipment, computer systems (Microsoft Office suite of products).
- The ability to work effectively as part of the hospital team to support the CMO in working effectively within the hospital environment to accomplish the overall mission, vision and goals of the hospital.

Care/Utilization Manager (Full-time: 8 hour days)The Care/Utilization Manager position encompasses both care management and utilization management.
The Care/Utilization Manager is accountable and responsible for coordinating the care and service for Regional Hospital (RH) patients’ progress through the healthcare continuum. This is accomplished by ongoing input to the patients’ treatment plan and evaluating responses to interventions and treatment goals. Coordinates home discharge planning/training /education.
The Care/Utilization manager is accountable and responsible for assuring RH patients meet NALTH criteria for medical necessity and intensity of service. The result is accomplishing effective utilization of resources and achievement of desired financial outcomes.
Position requires experience in care management and/or utilization management. RN preferred.
